Friday Feat: 1-Year-Old Dead Hang

Sonnie Trotter’s 1-year-old daughter Mesa cranks out a 10 second dead hang in preparation for her future V20 sends. Her dad is a pro climber, known for being the first Canadian to climb 5.14c and hard trad first ascents, such as Cobra Crack (5.14b) in Squamish, British Columbia. Mesa, turning three this year, has spent much of her life on the road with her mom, dad and older brother traveling to climbing destinations and learning the tools of the trade.
