Mélissa Le Nevé – First Female Ascent of Güllich’s Wallstreet


Mélissa Le Nevé on Wallstreet, the world’s first 8c (5.14b), in Germany’s Frankenjura. Wallstreet was esablished in 1987 by the legendary Wolfgang Güllich, the Sharma or Adam Ondra of his time. Güllich snatched up “world’s firsts” like a dog with a bone, racking up no less than four historic new grades. The last of which, Action Direct (9a, 5.14d), Le Nevé also repeated earlier this year.
