Wim Hof, a.k.a. The Ice Man, holds 26 world records for swimming and sustained ice contact. His superhuman feats, which have been featured on major media outlets such as The Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel, are honed by practice, meditation and Hof’s peculiar breathing technique, which as since been dubbed the Wim Hof Methond (WHM). Hof claims that his techniques are helpful for improving a myriad of health-related conditions, such as energy and stress levels.

Pro climber Magnus Midtbø decided to see if the WHM works for improving climbing performance.
